Microbrewer to occupy former site of Brazenhead and adjoin new soon to be built COhatch site.

WORTHINGTON, OHIO, January 8, 2020 – North High Brewing, a leading local microbrewer of craft beer, and Columbus-based start-up COhatch, a social enterprise offering a new kind of shared work, social, and family space built on community, are teaming up to develop a new complex in downtown historic Dublin at 56 North High Street. It will be located just steps from the new Dublin pedestrian bridge that is set to open this month – connecting the area with Dublin Bridge Park.

The first of its kind in Dublin, the new brewery will occupy the site of the former Brazenhead and will have the support of COhatch to restore and renovate the 4,500 square foot historic building to reflect its architectural roots. Set to open in the spring, it will feature upscale pub fare and two outdoor patios including one alongside the building facing Dublin Road and a second patio in the rear of the building overlooking the Scioto River and the new bridge for walkers, runners and bicyclists.

“Joining forces with COhatch couldn’t be a better fit for us,” said Tim Ward, co-owner of North High Brewing Co. “Our brand is built on delivering experiences for our customers which is fully aligned with the COhatch mission to bring people together. As one of the area’s largest microbrewers, residents of Dublin—many of which are our most loyal customers—will be able to sample, taste and buy our beer products that will be brewed and served onsite while experiencing and enjoying all the process has to offer.”

With construction slated to begin this winter, COhatch will build an adjoining facility with more than 10,000 square feet of new shared office, coworking and event space at the site and both companies will work together to share resources, including opening the brewery’s doors to COhatch members for office and event space until COhatch Dublin opens in January 2021.

According to COhatch founder and CEO Matt Davis, “We have been searching for the perfect space for COhatch in Dublin for a few years now; one that matches our vision of giving local area residents another reason to work, meet and live in the vibrant communities they love at a site reflecting the heritage of the area. By teaming with North High Brewing Co, we will provide Dublin with the space, tools and activities to enhance their community and help to foster collaboration and community among entrepreneurs, start-ups and non-profits that want to live their lives authentically.”

Once open, COhatch Dublin will offer a combination of private offices, dedicated desks, game areas, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, large conference rooms, and family-friendly indoor-outdoor event spaces. It also includes a standard set of business amenities (Wi-Fi, desk, fax, mail, print services).

The meeting and event spaces will be available to the community as well as COhatch members and are suitable for hosting off-site company meetings and celebratory life events.

Currently, COhatch has 10 locations in Columbus, Dayton and Springfield, Ohio and another 10 planned for Indianapolis and now Cincinnati—representing a tripling of its footprint since the company’s inception in 2016.

Members gain access to all COhatch resources and spaces at any of its locations throughout the Midwest including a Florida beach house, the “Mobi” community trailer, health and wellness coaching, special member events and much more.
