Special touches include naturally-lit atrium, coworking quiet rooms, podcast room and 20-person theatre.

WORTHINGTON, OHIO, August 12, 2020 – Columbus-based start-up COhatch, a social enterprise offering a new kind of shared work, social, and family space built on community, continues its aggressive expansion plans with the opening of its first Cincinnati location in the Deerfield Towne Center in Mason. The newly refurbished location features a naturally-lit atrium, a plug-n-play podcast room, coworking quiet rooms and a 20-person theatre, ideal for business broadcasts and special events.

Known for repurposing and re-energizing spaces, COhatch restored the former Arhaus site at Deerfield Towne Center, located at 5325 Deerfield Blvd, into a 13,000 square feet space dedicated to co-working, office and event space to give members ready access to the North side of town.

COhatch joins a curated collection of more than 50 national retailers, specialty boutiques, world-class restaurants and entertainment concepts including Whole Foods, Ulta, Aveda, Regal Cinemas and Maplewood Kitchen & Bar at Deerfield Towne Center.

According to COhatch founder and CEO Matt Davis, “Our work continues to give local area residents another reason to work, meet, live in the vibrant communities that they love. We see Cincinnati as a perfect fit for our lifestyle concept that brings together entrepreneurs, start-ups and non-profits in a community townhall 2.0 concept where we provide the space, locations, tools and activities to help individuals and organizations flourish.”

“As a result of the pandemic, organizations are seeking new ways to bring their workforce together in an effort to foster culture and drive innovation. With our flex shared space concept and the desire of companies to decentralize and de-densify their workspaces, we have been able to collaborate with businesses of all sizes to customize space that meets their requirements, while at the same time enabling greater employee flexibility. We’re hearing that an exclusive ‘work from home’ strategy is posing challenges; it’s far from the panacea everyone had hoped,” added Davis.

COhatch Mason offers a combination of 39 private offices, dedicated desks, game areas, co-working spaces, podcasting room, a theatre, meeting rooms, large conference rooms, and family-friendly indoor-outdoor patio space. It also includes a standard set of business amenities (Wi-Fi, desk, fax/mail services). All with plenty of space for appropriate social distancing.

The meeting and event spaces, including the Knight Sky room, will be available to the community as well as COhatch members and are suitable for hosting off-site company meetings and celebratory life events.

Members gain access to all COhatch resources and spaces at any of its locations throughout the Midwest including GIVE Scholarships, a Florida beach house, the “Mobi” community trailer, health and wellness coaching and special member events.

Currently, the company is running a No Business Left Behind promotion to help businesses during the pandemic.
