I have read and agree to the COhatch Dog Pass Policy.
We'd love to have your furry friends to join us at COhatch.
The following are guidelines for having them at the space. If any of the following guidelines are broken they will NOT be allowed to return to the space.
- No barking
- Only permitted in private offices and kept on a leash/directly next to owner while walking through common areas
- Must play well with other dogs
- Must be taken outside to handle their “business”
- No jumping on people
- No biting or nipping people
Cleaning up / Cleaning Fee: When dogs do their “business” outside it must be picked up and discarded. While dogs should do their “business” outside, accidents happen. Cleaning fee may apply if a dog soils the carpet or furniture. Trash must be disposed of outside.
Unattended Dogs: Dogs cannot be left alone in a private office if the owner leaves the building (e.g., for lunch or a meeting).
Dogs must remain quiet. Intermittent or persistent barking that disrupts the work environment will result in immediate removal.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for aggression. An aggressive animal is defined as any animal that, without internal provocation, exhibits behaviors such as menacing, chasing, displaying threatening behavior, making negative physical contact (snapping, growling, charging or biting), or biting a person or domestic animal. Any violation or instance, will result in a permanent ban of the animal. Any damage to property, members, or guests (including injury or otherwise) are the responsibility of the dog owner. Cost, legal fees, and liability all remain with the owner of animal at all times on COhatch property.
Leashes: Dogs in common areas (not in offices) must be on a leash at all times with the owner holding the leash.
Food & Water: Members must provide their own bowls for water and food. The use of communal kitchen dishes, mugs, or utensils for pet use is strictly prohibited. All pet bowls must be kept inside the Member’s private office to prevent tripping hazards or spills in common walkways. Any spills must be cleaned up immediately by the Member.
Sign up / Trial Day: Potential trial day where the dog comes in for a few hours so staff can gauge its temperament before granting ongoing access.
*Service Animals
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are welcome in all areas of the Space where members are permitted. Service animals must be under the handler’s control at all times. While service animals are exempt from “private office only” restrictions, they remain subject to the behavior and hygiene standards outlined in these terms.
