Other perk additions to include more vacation properties and brand new digital platform

COLUMBUS, OHIO, April 12, 2022 – COhatch, a rapidly growing, Columbus-based company which develops innovative shared work and social spaces, is expanding offerings to help members outside of their workday.

“We want to do everything we can to promote and grow our members in and out of work,” said Matt Davis, co-founder and CEO of COhatch. “We’ve got the ‘work’ and ‘meet’ parts of our tagline down, and now we’re continuing to expand on the ‘live’ aspect of what we can offer to our members and the greater community.”

One of the biggest additions to COhatch’s “Live” offerings is their new “Free Life Events” initiative. With no added cost to COhatch members, the program gives them a free venue to host life’s biggest milestone events from baby showers and birthday parties to weddings and family reunions (with some restrictions defined in their terms and conditions).

“Our members are like family, so we want to treat them as such,” said Davis. “Part of our mission is to equip people to be greater and this program really allows for that – we’re making it more affordable and accessible for people to be better parents and partners.”

COhatch is launching its first large scale event space in Polaris in June, which will help accommodate these events. The venue will be able to hold weddings, corporate events, training seminars and more, and will include two catering kitchens and a bar operated by North High Brewing Company.

“Imagine the smiles on a couple’s faces when they find out they can have their dream wedding at their neighborhood COhatch without the expense of traditional event spaces,” said Jenna Dray, COhatch Columbus Market Leader.

The lifestyle perks don’t stop there. COhatch already has a beach house, Sandy Pants, in Anna Maria Island, Florida and is adding more vacation properties to its roster for members to book at discounted rates. They also offer tons of other unique amenities for members to enjoy outside of work, including sports simulators, movie theaters, rock climbing walls, gym memberships and local small business discounts with more offerings coming soon.

To support all of COhatch’s offerings, they’ve built a new digital platform called COhatch+, which is launching in May of this year. The website will connect all COhatch locations and members, providing even more resources, like Neighborhood groups for people with common interests, and Marketplace, where people can find local businesses and discounts, and businesses can list themselves for others to discover.

“While we started out as just a coworking space, we’ve evolved and will continue to evolve far beyond that,” said Davis. “We’re finally achieving our greater goal of becoming an extension of our members’ homes – giving them access to business resources while improving their personal lives too.”
