INDIANAPOLIS, May 20, 2021 – COhatch, a company with a new approach to shared work, social, and family space, is celebrating the grand opening of its Broad Ripple location that will welcome community members, entrepreneurs, start-ups, non-profits and workers seeking satellite offices close to home.

Today, the company will open COhatch Broad Ripple at 6151 Central Ave. in Indianapolis to the public for a “Spring Festival.” The grand opening celebration will include food trucks, kids’ games, and facility tours from 4-7 p.m.

“At COhatch, we have a mission to strengthen communities and improve lives,” said Matt Davis, co- founder and CEO of COhatch. “We’re focused on community connectivity, and we look forward to helping Broad Ripple community members balance work, family, well-being and philanthropy.”

The Broad Ripple facility includes more than 18,000 sq. ft. of space that includes 38 private offices and 115 coworking seats. The space is designed for flexibility, able to accommodate evolving office trends and hybrid work models. The coworking space also can provide a consistent, comfortable home base for the increasing number of freelancers and work-from-home employees of large corporations.

As it has done with its Ohio and Florida spaces, COhatch is leaning into a model that makes it easier for members to integrate work, leisure, family activities and community engagement. The Broad Ripple building will include large meeting spaces, an outdoor patio and a 13-sport simulator. Its podcast room can be used for the production of business-related or hobby pieces, and its arcade will provide entertainment for all those in need of a brain break.

COhatch Broad Ripple spaces will be available to the community for personal use after work hours and on weekends. Use fees from these spaces will fund scholarships to local non-profit organizations through the COhatch GIVE Scholarship program. Via the program, COhatch provides scholarships in each market annually to 501c3 organizations supporting issues related to addressing human trafficking, domestic violence, homelessness and developmental disabilities, as well as to local minority- and women-owned start-ups.

The Broad Ripple addition brings COhatch’s total number of locations open or under development to 25, with total square footage of nearly 400,000. It marks an expansion of the company’s Indianapolis footprint, joining the already-open Noblesville location. COhatch plans to open a total of at least 10 locations in the Indianapolis area.

Members of COhatch Broad Ripple will be welcome to use workspace at the Noblesville location as well as the company’s Springfield, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Tampa, Florida locations. As the locations open, members also will have access to two facilities in Cleveland, Ohio.
