Established 10 years ago as a Coworking Company, COhatch Expands into Lifestyle
Experiences to Meet Demand from Members to Connect Beyond the Workday

DUBLIN, OHIO, October 20, 2026 – After a decade of redefining how people work, connect and
belong, COhatch is entering its next stage of growth with the launch of COhatch lifestyle
experiences and signature events. Designed to meet growing member demand in the age of AI
for human collaboration and connection, COhatch is creating new member clubs and one-time
experiences that enable COhatch members to deepen relationships and explore hobbies
beyond the workday.

Aimed at the “live” part of its motto, COhatch is creating a growing lineup of unique, curated
experiences, including recent and upcoming October activities such as the Omakase Cocktail
Experience, twice-a-month Bourbon Club, Exclusive Bottle Opening and a Chef Tasting at Lani
Rooftop Lounge, as well as CarniFall, COhatch’s 10-year anniversary celebration featuring live
music, food, drinks, games and family-friendly activities. New clubs and events coming this fall
will also include a focus on health and wellness with plans to create a Hiking Club and other
wellness activities that best align with member interests and hobbies.

COhatch events and experiences are open to members as well as the community. COhatch
members receive preferred pricing and early access to sign up, exclusive member-focused clubs
and programming, and unique opportunities to experience COhatch spaces and restaurants,
including Lani Rooftop Lounge and North High Brewing Co. Registration for upcoming events
and experiences are available on OpenTable and EventBrite.

“COhatch began with the idea of creating neighborhood spaces where people could work, meet
and live more connected and fulfilled lives,” said Matt Davis, CEO and co-founder, COhatch.
“Ten years later,COhatch has uniquely grown into an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, businesses,
nonprofits and community members across multiple markets and multiple states. The first
decade was all about creating incredible spaces for our community. The next ten years are
about something even more meaningful: using those spaces to deepen connections and create
lasting impact for our members at a time when genuine human connection is becoming
increasingly rare.”

COhatch’s move into the lifestyle space follows 10 years of building a 37-location footprint
across seven states with 9,000 active members with historic building renovation and
repurposing at the cornerstone of its strategy.

Recent industry research indicates that the United States is home to more than 9,100
coworking spaces, making it one of the largest coworking markets in the world, as demand
continues to grow for flexible workplaces that combine professional amenities with
opportunities for networking, collaboration, and community. In fact, nearly 55% of corporations
now use flexible or coworking workspaces, reflecting a broader shift toward workplaces that
offer flexibility, connection, and collaboration beyond traditional office space.

A Decade of Impact
Founded in October 2016 by six friends seeking a better way to work and live, COhatch began
with a vision to create spaces where people could work closer to home, connect with their
communities, build meaningful relationships, and spend more time with their families.
This vision took shape in a renovated former hardware store in historic Worthington, Ohio,
where COhatch opened its first location. Building on its early success, the company expanded
with the opening of a second Worthington location, The Library, in 2018.

COhatch’s latest initiative in Kettering, Ohio, exemplifies its approach to enhancing
communities and fostering economic development through the restoration and repurposing of
the D.L. Barnes building, transforming it into a community gathering place and business
incubator.

Earlier this year, COhatch announced in partnership with the City of Dublin, Ohio, the creation
and development of Riverview Village, an innovation district in historic Dublin, Ohio. Riverview
Village will feature a nearly two-acre walkable space that uniquely focuses on innovation,
technology, small business growth, the arts, and community events to create a hub of economic
and social activity. Completion is expected in the next 12 to 24 months.

“COhatch is so much more than a workspace,” said 10-year member Doug Christopher, owner
of Titan Insurance Services. “I joined shortly after COhatch opened because I needed a business
address to launch my insurance agency. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever
made. The relationships I’ve built here have helped grow my business tenfold, but what has
meant the most is belonging to a community that genuinely wants to see each other succeed.
Ten years later, I’m still here because of the people.”

Community is central to the COhatch mission
Over the past decade, COhatch has supported hundreds of nonprofits, startups, entrepreneurs,
and community organizations through its Impact and Boost scholarship programs, providing
affordable access to workspace, business resources, and valuable community connections that
drive growth and long-term success.

Since its founding, COhatch has awarded more than $8.8 million in scholarships, including 717
nonprofit scholarships, 165 startup scholarships, 228 community scholarships, and a
community impact project with Star House, where it is renovating 62 apartments at Carol
Stewart Village to give unhoused youth a place to call home.
While its Boost and Impact programs will continue into its next phase of growth, COhatch will
announce a program revamp in early December.

“We are excited about the next decade of growth,” said Davis. “Today’s professionals aren’t just
looking for office space. They’re looking for flexibility, connection, purpose, and opportunities
to grow in suburban areas close to home at a time when technology has become the main
societal driver. As hybrid work becomes the norm and employees place greater value on
community and experience, the places where people work, gather, and build relationships are
evolving right alongside them.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: On October 24 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., COhatch is hosting its 10-year
anniversary party, Carnifall, featuring live music, food, drinks, games and family-friendly
activities at COhatch Westerville. Register to attend here.
