Posh Teatime Co. is a Columbus-based luxury teatime experience and social enterprise. The company was founded by local entrepreneur Ella Williams, a tea expert and enthusiast.

Ella has always been an incredibly hard worker. She grew up in and out of the foster care system and went through high school holding multiple jobs. After graduation, Ella worked in IT, customer support, and hospitality. She soon discovered that there was a problem in the way etiquette was taught in underserved schools and communities – it just wasn’t.

After her mother passed away in 2018, she and her husband took some time to travel. One of the places they visited was Morocco – this was where Ella discovered her passion for tea – she had never experienced anything like their luxurious, opulent, and ritualistic tea services in the States.

In 2020, Ella began to explore this passion by hosting small tea parties at her home, complete with homemade tea sandwiches and desserts. She also taught proper dining etiquette.

Posh Tea Time Co. was officially founded in 2021 as a mobile tea room, creating luxurious and all-inclusive tea experiences in customer’s homes and eventually expanded to a 15-foot tea trailer. They became a COhatch Boost Scholar in 2022 and love to hold strategic planning and brainstorming sessions at COhatch Easton.

Ella has commended the kindness and generosity of COhatch. She says, “We are so blessed to have amazing support from the COhatch community. All the community managers especially have been so supportive since we launched.”

The Posh purpose goes far beyond High Tea. As a certified International Etiquette Consultant, Ella is dedicated to giving back by teaching etiquette classes and providing internships. She partners with Buckeye Ranch and Huckleberry House to provide hygiene kits, lessons, food, and training to the community.

COhatch cannot be more proud of Posh Teatime Co. and Ella’s growth – they are set to open their first brick-and-mortar location in Summer of 2024. Pinkies up!
