Serving Homeless Youth in Columbus through Star House

Star House, located in Columbus, Ohio, is an organization working towards serving homeless youth by providing them a safe place to live, find work & education opportunities, and other resources like healthcare and emotional support systems. COhatch is partnering with Star House to renovate 62 apartments at Carol Stewart Village to house homeless youth in a place that feels safe and most importantly, a place that feels like home.

Through COhatch and our partners, we’re providing materials and furniture to make these apartments a home for our local youth experiencing homelessness.

Companies across Columbus are volunteering their time and expertise to help with renovations through painting, flooring, carpentry, and more. We’re looking for more partners to volunteer with us!

The COhatch team and our member businesses are coming together to help with this project. Working on the Star House apartments has been a great team building opportunity!
