New markets include Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte with more on the way

COLUMBUS, OHIO, July 14, 2022 – COhatch, a community focused company that develops and operates a local network of shared work and social spaces is continuing its grassroots growth plan by heading to multiple new markets.

COhatch plans to launch multiple locations in Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Nashville and Orlando, as well as several other cities that will connect its locations from the midwest to those in central Florida. COhatch has partnered with Commonwealth Ventures to continue its organic growth plan by funding up to ten additional markets, bringing the company’s total to 15 markets outside of Columbus.

“COhatch represents all the reasons we created Commonwealth,” said John V. Handelsman, president and CEO of Commonwealth. “The COhatch team is full of excellent strategists and operators driven by a compelling vision to help strengthen communities and improve lives, proving that you don’t have to sacrifice financial returns to produce significant social and community impact.”

As it grows, COhatch strives to keep its growth community-focused by only raising funds with partners and investors who share the company’s mission and vision.

“We are committed to working with people who understand our mission and how it impacts our communities,” said COhatch co-founder and CEO, Matt Davis. “We’re growing the only way we know how – in amazing local communities with great people alongside us. We will only continue to be successful if we step into the shoes of our members, treat them as family and build things that will enable them to be greater in their business and in their personal lives.”

Along with its physical growth, COhatch also recently announced its all new digital community platform, COhatch+, to add even more value to its members and support thousands of other small businesses, start-ups and freelancers that do not yet have access to its physical locations. The platform will provide COhatch members and the public with access to its ecosystem of thousands of members nationwide, as well as business growth and networking opportunities, access to better health benefits, the ability for startups to get visibility and raise money locally and much more.

COhatch+ is intended to grow in tandem with the offerings of COhatch’s physical locations, including access to local discounts and amenities such as vacation properties, free venues for members’ major life events and more.

As always, COhatch’s mission is at the center of its expansion.

“By expanding digitally and physically, we can continue to equip our members to be a little bit greater in all parts of their lives,” said Davis. “Spending more time with their family and friends, getting the most out of their talents, growing their businesses and serving their communities. The ripple effect on our local communities can be staggering.”
