The Top 10 Small Business Resources of 2017

Deploying millions of dollars in loans and assisting thousands of entrepreneurs, ECDI was once again voted the Top Small Business Resource in Columbus. A one-stop-shop for small business owners, ECDI provides the educational resources to funding that entrepreneurs need to launch and grow their enterprises.
Since 2008, ECDI has dispersed more than $39 million in loans, with over $5.4 million deployed in 2017 alone. Of the 244 loans dispersed, 55 percent went to minorities, 52 percent to low- to moderate-income individuals and 40 percent to women.
Throughout the year, ECDI assisted 2,206 new individuals with a variety of programs, like the new Capital for Construction initiative, and resources that include the Women’s Business Center of Ohio and the Food Fort.
