Lifestyle co-working social enterprise opens first location outside of Ohio; Expands footprint to North side of Indianapolis.

WORTHINGTON, OHIO, September 28, 2020 – Columbus-based start-up COhatch, a social enterprise offering a new kind of shared work, social, and family space built on community, is opening today its first location in Indiana at the Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville. Currently, COhatch has 17 locations across Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, Ohio.

COhatch has been working with Simon Property Group over the past year to develop and repurpose the space at Hamilton Town Space at 13110 Harrell Parkway. COhatch also plans to build an additional seven locations in walkable urban areas in Indianapolis that require revitalization and building restoration—honoring the history and architecture of each space. Earlier this month, COhatch announced it will renovate and restore Trinity Church in Broad Ripple, 6151 Central Avenue, to a coworking, event, and community and collaboration space. The Broad Ripple space is expected to open in early 2021.

At its latest location in Noblesville, COhatch revitalized 7,200 square feet of office, coworking and event space with special amenities that includes a two-story mezzanine, podcasting room, and indoor/outdoor patio area at the heart of the retail lifestyle center featuring shopping, dining, hospitality and entertainment.

“Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville offers a great environment and the perfect complement for further expanding our townhall 2.0 concept,” said COhatch founder and CEO Matt Davis. “Our vision is to help build vibrant communities, where we enable individuals and businesses to work, meet, and live – and give back to the communities that they love. By providing a center of gravity for the community and offering tools and amenities to flourish, members thrive through our collaborative and innovative approach to community.”

The Hamilton Town Center COhatch offers a combination of 22 private offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, large conference rooms, and family-friendly indoor outdoor event spaces. It also includes a standard set of business amenities (Wi-Fi, desk, fax/mail services), and meeting and event spaces. The large gathering spaces are ideal for both member and non-member, off-site company meetings and hosting life events.

Already actively involved with the local non-profit community, COhatch offers the GIVE Scholarship program which provides scholarships each year to 50 501c3 organizations in each market to organizations aligned with COhatch’s philanthropic goals of helping non-profits that support anti-human trafficking/domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness, and children and adults with developmental disabilities among others. With enrollment activities from November 1 through January 1, COhatch extends free community membership to qualifying organizations providing them access to space and meeting rooms and all the amenities of a COhatch membership.

Members gain access to all COhatch resources and spaces at any of its locations throughout the Midwest including GIVE Scholarships, a Florida beach house, the “Mobi” community trailer, health and wellness coaching and special member events.

COhatch now has 17 total locations open or under development with more than 200,000 square feet in the Midwest, representing a 20 fold increase of COhatch’s footprint since its inception in 2016.
