We caught up with COhatch Noblesville member Nick Lawrence, Vice President of Human Resources overseeing three central Indiana Chick-fil-A locations, to learn a little more about why COhatch was the right fit for him and his team. 

Meet Nick

When Nick joined our COhatch Noblesville location, just north of Indianapolis, in January 2021, he was the Director of HR for Chick-fil-A Saxony. Fast forward more than a year and a half later, both Nick’s role and his team utilizing our space have expanded!

“Since joining COhatch, we have added two Chick-fil-A locations. I am now the Vice President of Human Resources overseeing everything from recruiting to retirement for those three central Indiana locations,” said Nick. 

Today, there are over 10 members of the Chick-fil-A central Indiana leadership team that use COhatch! 

Why COhatch?

Prior to Nick joining COhatch Noblesville, his bosses were searching for a space that would be able to accommodate his team for a specific purpose of hosting offsite meetings. Ideally, the space would also be able to evolve to a growing team’s needs…luckily they found us!

“Our leaders were looking for a place outside of the restaurant to host strategic meetings. We now use a hybrid model of COhatch and our three restaurant locations to better serve our team and our guests,” said Nick.

With over 8,000 square feet of workspace, 20+ private offices, not to mention the creative and collaborative environment, it’s no wonder that COhatch Noblesville has been a great fit for Nick and his team!      

“One of my favorite things about working at COhatch is, I say “everyday is a networking event,” just taking your plate to the sink, you run into somebody…I’ve met several great connections by doing that and being introduced to other people. It’s really helped our business and our team,” said Nick.

“One of my favorite memories or experiences at COhatch was a retreat we did down at the location in Broad Ripple. I invited my whole team to that location and we just had a day to recharge, invest in ourselves, take part in the BBQ outside and the golf simulator! We are very fortunate that we were able to use that space to invest in our team and have a little fun in the process,” said Nick.
